Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple

- The tour gives you a chance to visit the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is odd mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The highlight of this tour is to enjoy the noon ceremony at the Temple which is organized celebrated. The colorful procession that parades through the temple hall is an opportunity for your snapshots.

 

- The trip to Cao Dai temple is combined with a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels to see how VC live and fought during the war.

- For those who are interested, there is an opportunity to fire off rounds from a M16 or AK47 at the nearby firing range (option only, fee not included.

The Cao Dai Ceremony at 12 noon is the most interesting thing to see so that you have to option for depart time of this tour:

 

Option 1: Depart at 9:00am, visit Cao Dai temple first then have lunch and Cu Chi tunnels on the way back. Go back the city around 6:30pm-7:00pm.

Option 2: Depart at 7:00pm, visit Cu Chi tunnel first then Cao Dai temple and have lucnh and go back the city around 3pm-4pm.

Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong tour

7 AM in the morning departure to Cu Chi tunnels (about 1h30 minutes) to see how VC live and fought during the war.

 

- For those who are interested, there is an opportunity to fire off rounds from a M16 or AK47 at the nearby firing range (option only, fee not included)

 

- After visiting Cu Chi tunnels we have lunch with Vietnamese food then start the Mekong tour.

 

- Arriving My Tho wharf, cruising on Mekong River and stop at a floating fish farm village to know how hard the life of local people there. Up to island, visit bee farm village and move to next destination to enjoy seasonal fruits while enjoying Mekong folk music-the lovely and romantic melody of one of the tribes in Mekong Delta; and visit the hand-made coconut candy factory to learn more about this local specific traditional trade. Then rowing a sampan boat to go along a small canal to explore the local waterway life.

- After that getting on a horse cart to a local market to see the real Vietnam.  Back to the boat, end of service! We send you back to your hotel

Cai Be Floating Market

- From Ho Chi Minh City it takes about 2 hours to Cai Be colorful floating market and cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. It is a living river city and it makes the picture of Mekong river more beautiful and busier in early morning.

- It is also interesting to visit the handicraft village, local workshops where you can see how local people they make some special products: rice paper for spring rolls, hande-made coconut candy, pop rice, rice wine….and know more about the local special trades.

- Enjoying the Mekong folk music-the lovely and romantic melody of one of the tribes in Mekong Delta is an interesting part of the tour. The Sampan boat will take you deeper into smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful life.

- A delicious lunch will be served at an ancient house over 170 years old.

The cruise is also a great chance to see how local catch fish and pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta. The tour will end at Cai Be pier and we send you back to Hotel.

Mekong delta-countryside's daily life

- Morning departure to My Tho in Tien Giang province for exploring the specific culture of Mekong Delta, the largest rice basket in Vietnam. Seeing along the road with green rice fields, flower gardens, poultry and cattle farms....Enjoying the daily activities in countryside like: harvest, breeding.

- At My Tho city, visit the Cao Dai temple which beginning in 1926, a new religion in the South of Vietnam. Then proceed to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, built in early 19 century, a national cultural historical relic and also famous religious attraction.

- In Ho Chi Minh city we visit the famous Saigon landmarks like Reunification Palace which was the former residence of 4 Presidents of South Vietnam in Vietnam war. Close to this sides are some of the best French colonial structures including the Sai Gon Post Office as well as Notre Dame Cathedral Church and pass by the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville) and old Opera House. Then visiting War remnant Museum to see and know historical parts of Vietnam.

- Final stop is visiting Fine Art workshop – the most famous and beautiful handicraft art in Vietnam.

Finish the tour we send you back to your hotel

RATE:
These net prices are in US dollars per person and the rate might be changed a bit higher  as New Year, Lunar New year, Public holidays in Vietnam …

OUR TOUR PRICES INCLUDE:

- Surcharge fees in peak season,national holidays

- Personal expenses such as telephone, laundry, etc.

- Compulsory Personal Travel Insurance (It should cover against all cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the event of accident of illness, client should buy before departure day)

- Hotel accommodation before & after optional trip & packages

 OPTIONAL:

- Lunch or dinner : minimum 25 USD/pax; maximum 40 USD/pax depending on restaurant


- Bike Hire: 30 USD/day from day of hiring to day of returning

 

 

 

SAFETY:

 

During your trip you will have some free time for you to explore on your own. Please note that any optional activities you undertake are not part of your VIET NAM LED TRIP itinerary, and VIET NAM LED TRIP makes no representations about the safety of the activities or the standard of any operators running them.

 

NOTE: Personal Travel Insurance clients should buy before departure day. 

 

DEPOSIT: 

A 30% of total holiday price is required as deposit upon receiving confirmation email plus invoice sent from VIET NAM LED TRIP

PAYMENT:

The balance should be done before the tour. We accept for cash payment or bank transfer.

All the payment should be made to the owner or the appropriate VIET NAM LED TRIP bank account. Bank’s details will be given in our confirmation email or invoice.

CHILD DISCOUNT:

One child under 6years old is generally granted free of charge for the tour fee, provided that he/she is accompanied by at least two full-paying adults, from 6 to 10 years old is half charge, over 10 years old is full charge.

CANCELLATION:

In cases that tourits cannot make the tour as planned, please inform us before the tour dates. The cancellation charges are calculated as below

20-11 Days before the tour     25%

10-3 Days before the tour       35%

48 hours before the tour         45%   

However, we may consider the reason of cancelation and maynot charge the fee if the reason happens beyond our control.

 Note: If the tour is not delivered as promised, a 30 percent refund will be given back to our customers, advised that customers contact us within 3 days of the conclusion of the tour after we listen from both two sites tour guide and travelers to find out the reason. If the reason because of our site you will get 30 percent refund back.

LIABILITY:

VIET NAM LED TRIP will always do its utmost to provide the the best services to meet satisfaction of customers. VIET NAM LED TRIP acts as an intermediate between local tourist offices and other service providers and reserves the right to change the itinerary for reasons beyond our control i.e. delay accidents, natural disaster, etc..
